MacroAir Names Tanner Ford President, Ushering in Next Era of Growth and Innovation

MacroAir, the pioneer of high-volume, low-speed (HVLS) fan technology, is excited to announce Tanner Ford as President, marking a significant step forward in the company’s continued evolution while reinforcing the values that have defined the brand for more than 25 years.

As MacroAir enters its next chapter, leadership is transitioning from day-to-day family management to Ford, an accomplished executive whose experience spans engineering, global sales, product strategy, operations, and P&L leadership. The Boyd family, whose vision built MacroAir into an industry leader, will remain actively involved as the company’s Governing Board, continuing to provide strategic oversight and preserve the long-term vision that has shaped the company since its founding.

Ford’s appointment reflects MacroAir’s commitment to purposeful growth rooted in engineering excellence, product quality, and American manufacturing.

“Tanner brings the right combination of technical expertise, operational discipline, and forward-thinking leadership to guide MacroAir into its next phase,” said MacroAir. “His approach aligns closely with who we are as a company, innovative, accountable, and deeply committed to delivering exceptional products and service to our customers.”

With degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics from Texas Tech University, Ford brings both technical depth and business acumen to the role. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for driving growth with clarity, accountability, and integrity while fostering a culture where teams are empowered to take ownership and execute at a high level.

“I’m honored to step into this role at such an important time in MacroAir’s history,” said Ford. “MacroAir has built an extraordinary legacy by leading with innovation and staying committed to quality. My focus is on building on that foundation, investing in our people, strengthening our partnerships, and continuing to deliver airflow solutions that create real value for customers around the world.”

Ford’s leadership comes at a time when MacroAir is doubling down on the principles that have long set it apart, including its commitment to in-house design, engineering, and manufacturing. While much of the industry has moved toward outsourcing, MacroAir continues to maintain full ownership of its product development process, ensuring greater quality control, faster innovation, and unmatched product reliability.

Since developing the world’s first HVLS fan prototype in 1998, MacroAir has remained at the forefront of airflow technology, serving industries ranging from warehousing and manufacturing to automotive, agriculture, and hospitality.

With Ford at the helm and the Boyd family continuing to guide the company as its Governing Board, MacroAir is positioned for its strongest chapter yet, one built on innovation, disciplined growth, and an unwavering commitment to engineering the best airflow solutions in the world.
