MACROAIR TRANSFORMS BRAND IDENTITY TO FURTHER SHOWCASE PRODUCT EFFICIENCY AND RELIABILITY

Originators of The HVLS Fan Industry, MacroAir Experts Are The ˜Engineers of Air™”

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. March 1, 2012 In an effort to better communicate its position as the leader of the High Volume Low Speed (HVLS) industry, MacroAir is transforming its company brand identity to showcase its solution-oriented technologies that lead clients to more efficient HVAC operations and savings.

MacroAir, manufacturer of commercial ceiling fans in sizes up to 24 feet in diameter, has revamped its company messaging platform and voice, logo, and branding elements to highlight its expertise of the precision movement of air. Elements of MacroAir’s new brand identity, including a new video demonstration, can be seen at www.macroairfans.com.

“We truly believe we are the ˜Engineers of Air” with our origination of the industry category and constant innovation,” said Eddie Boyd, president of MacroAir. “Now is the time for us to increase our communication of the superiority of our product design and engineering philosophies to the marketplace, and I think what you’ll hear and see from the new MacroAir is an invigorated commitment. Our products are engineered to perform and outshine our competitors through efficiency and reliability.”

Company innovations, including its patented 6ixBlade technology, showcase MacroAir’s commitment to scientific advancement and evolving product efficiency. While most other HVLS fans have 10 blades, MacroAir engineers reduced its fan blades to six in 2010, creating the 6ixBlade technology that uses a NASA-engineered wing design and advanced blade-angle pattern to move the same amount of air with 40 percent less power. MacroAir fans are proven to reduce room temperature by 10 degrees and lower heating and cooling cost by as much as 20 percent

MACROAIR BRAND TRANSFORMATION

Originator of the HVLS industry category in 1998, MacroAir fans use high volume and low speed to gently circulate air and create a more comforting environment. For more than a decade, the company has placed an emphasis on innovation and engineering superiority to create a business culture cultivating industry advancement, efficiency and reliability throughout all its products and design features.

With the most functional and durable high-volume, low-speed fans in the industry, MacroAir is committed to customer service and satisfaction, and offers a 12-year warranty on all products. For more information on the extensive line of MacroAir’s HVLS fans and applications, and announcements on new product lines throughout 2012, visit www.macroairfans.com .

About MacroAir

Since developing the first HVLS prototype in 1998, MacroAir has continually refined the design of the most durable and cost-effective commercial ceiling fan on the market. The company’s energy-efficient, long-lasting HVLS fans are utilized by companies such as Coca-Cola and can be found in barns, warehouses, manufacturing plants, air hangers and retail establishments across the U.S. and around the world.

With thousands of beverages being prepped for transport every hour, the 130,000 square foot Coca-Cola Distribution Center in Orlando is a flurry of activity. It also happens to be located in one of the most humid climates in the country. So despite having numerous turbo fans in constant operation, the structure’s 32-foot ceiling makes airflow down to the floor a non-event. Meetings with employees only further reinforced that something had to be done to keep the workers comfortable and productive.

Operations and Maintenance Manager Jim Lockhart had seen a MacroAir fan during a visit to Coca-Cola’s Jacksonville facility, and decided to look into the technology.

“Here at Coca-Cola, employee morale is a top priority, and the massive column of air the MacroAir fan circulated with just a ¾ horsepower motor made it an attractive solution.”

Lockhart had two AirSpan fans installed, and the cooling effect has made a noticeable improvement to employee comfort. Since then, he’s purchased an additional 10 fans from MacroAir. The fans operate throughout the week, and the employees say the fans provide welcome relief from the previously stagnant conditions experienced before the installation.

Comfort aside, Lockhart says the best part of the fans is the “wow” factor. “People are blown away when they see them in action.”

Rolling out their old fans and saving $1,000 a month on cooling.

Residents of California’s Inland Empire are no strangers to the heat. But when you own a popular roller skating rink and your patrons are constantly asking you to make it cooler, the cost implications can make even the most seasoned businessperson break a sweat.

Such was the case for Bruce Bragassa, owner of Stardust Skating Center in San Bernadino, CA. Despite running his air conditioning system, and with barrel fans blowing in two corners of the 22,000 square foot facility, skaters were noticeably perspiring both on and off the floor.

Revamping the existing air conditioning unit would have proven cost-prohibitive. What Stardust needed was a solution that moved a large volume of cooled air at the ceiling down to the skaters below.

“I’d discovered MacroAir’s website and thought this is too good to be true,” says Bruce. “So I contacted MacroAir and had a chance to see a fan in operation. That’s when I knew we absolutely had to get one.”

Stardust opted for an AirVolution 24′, and the results have been nothing short of spectacular. Since installing the fan, Stardust uses their air conditioning sparingly, and Bruce has seen his energy bill reduced by over $1,000 a month.

According to Bruce, “It’s by far the coolest thing I’ve done since opening the rink.”
